Announcing 2 support groups to help members of the LGBT youth community

I believe that you should celebrate who you are, what makes you unique and why you matter. For members of our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth community, I provide safe, inclusive and affirming groups to foster relationships, and interpersonal skills, and the evolution of identity.

Open to young people between the ages of 14-16 and 17-21, my program will build self-esteem and help ready you for various life stages. I also offer support to help LGBTQ young people, ages 14 and older, make healthy decisions about drugs and alcohol and protection from sexually transmitted disease.

I understand that, as a young member of the LGBTQ community, you may need support when facing a wide range of potentially overwhelming circumstances and emotions. From issues surrounding coming out and discrimination, to bullying, violence, anxiety, depression, HIV or other health concerns, self-harm, abuse and other crises, our group can provide the support you need.

Here you can meet with a counselor who understands what you are experiencing, and connect with other LGBTQ young people to build a support network for sharing experiences.
